I’ve been playing Telemann duos since a young age, so I’m very happy to finally have a video of such a work of him to present with my lovely partner Doret Florentin. This one is from a set published in Paris at 1738 of six canonic sonatas (originally not for recorders & in different key:) but – it suits the recorders very well),  & the canonic form is really exciting in my eyes, enabling us both to imitate each other, & to speak differently each phrase, a bit like a kaleidoscope, based on the sound of the composition while every phrase is sounded twice in a raw but through a different player, with a different character & approach, & against a different musical sentence, cause the composition already moved on….
