 Recorder is the first musical instrument in which I played, starting second grade, and even that I play many instruments, there is no doubt I have a special connection to the recorder, and I stand out prominently for my virtuous abilities I have developed over the years on this instrument, and thanks to my education in playing it. In Summarizing this education, which began at an early age, as stated, it is worth noting my principal teachers – Gershon Prenski, in my youth, under his guidance I won scholarships of the America-Israel Foundation, and as an adult, after I met Dutch masters at the early music workshops in Jerusalem, I traveled to the Netherlands to study under the guidance of Heiko ter Schegget and Leo Meilink at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht Conservatorium. After I returned to Israel I slowly found my way to the Israeli early music scene leading bodies, while also initiating many permanent or ad hoc ensembles. Naturally, and because of the nature and extent of my musical activities, I am playing my recorder also in non-standard and very varied manner. I play the recorder in a variety of styles, with a clear personal mark and saturated improvisations – world music, Jewish music, electro-acoustic music, rock and pop, blues and some jazz, modern music, and of course – Early Music.
