אתם גולשים כעת באתר שלם המפרט את פעילותי, בו אם להיות כן, אני מנסה להתמודד עם המשימה להציג בפניכם את “כל הטוב שבי”, ולהצליח לעשות זאת איכשהו מבלי להכנס להאדרה עצמית מיותרת. להשוויץ ולהיות צנוע בה בעת (אחד הכלים בהם אני נוקט פה ושם כדי להתמודד עם משימה זו היא ניסוחים עם “קריצה”, במעין הומור עצמי, שאני מקווה שנקראים בטון הנכון). בעצם – אני בעיקר רוצה להיות אינפורמטיבי בצורה מקיפה לגבי כישוריי ועשייתי, ולתת להם במה, כך שהעולם יוכל להכיר את כל מה שאני סבור שעשוי מבחינתי להיות ראוי לתצוגה בי. נכון הדבר שתמיד אפשר לפרט יותר, אבל למעשה אם תקראו את כל מה שכתבתי על פעילותי בדפיו השונים של אתר זה הרי שגם כך מצפה לכם קריאה ארוכה, ואם גם תצפו בכל הקליפים המשובצים בו והמדגימים פעילות זו הרי שתקוותי היא שתוכלו לבלות כאן שעות ארוכות ומהנות
מכל מקום, הרבה פעמים אנשים זקוקים לאיזשהו סיכום פשוט, וחשוב לי גם שתהיה לי ביוגרפיה מסודרת ברשת. ביוגרפיה כזו בעיניי ראוי לה שתכלול התייחסות לכל האספקטים המרכזיים של פעילויותיי שפירטתי כאן כאמור בדפים השונים, ויחד עם זאת – היא אמורה להיות בעלת אורך סביר מחד, ומאידך – כדי להמנע מרשימה אינסופית ואולי משמימה של מקומות שהופעתי בהם, אישים עמם עבדתי וכן הלאה, לאחר עשרות שנים של קריירה, אאלץ לסנן החוצה לא מעט, או, הבחירה שלי – פשוט לוותר על פירוט רשימה כזו כחלק מהביוגרפיה, ולהתייחס לפעילויות באופן כללי יותר. אגב הרשימה הזו, שהצטברה לאורך הזמן – אני מאוד שמח במה שעשיתי ומצד שני – עובדת חיים בסיסית היא שתמיד אפשר אפילו הרבה יותר, וזה כמובן כולל עוד הרבה מאוד מקומות בהם ארצה להופיע, אמנים עמם ארצה לעבוד, ובכלל – עשייה אותה עוד ארצה לעשות. יחד עם כל טפיחה על השכם, עצמית או לא, יש עוד אוקיינוס של דברים שעוד לא עשיתי ואליהם אני שואף, וכך גם לגבי מאפייני האיכות והמצויינות – אני תמיד יודע שאפשר לשאוף לעוד, לצד מנוחה פה ושם על זרי הדפנה

עדי זילברברג, יליד 1975, רחובות, בעל תואר במוזיקה עתיקה ונגינת חלילית, נגן רב כלי ורב סגנוני, מורה למוזיקה, איש משפחה
החל את לימודי החלילית בכיתה ב’ בקונסרבטוריון העירוני, ובשנים הראשונות למד אצל מורים שונים בקבוצות עד שהגיע אל הזוג רבקה חורן וגרשון פרנסקי הידוע, אצלו למד בנערותו, ותחת הדרכתו זכה גם במלגות קרן שרת. במקביל החל מילדות ללמוד נגינה בכלים שונים – אורגנית ופסנתר, כינור וגיטרה, ובבגרותו המשיך לצבור ניסיון נגינה בכלים נוספים רבים. צבר ניסיון בילדותו ובנערותו בעבודה על סוגי מוזיקה שונים במסגרות בית ספריות ועם חבר’ה, בין היתר בתזמורות, הרכבים ולהקות מסוגים שונים, כאשר פעמים רבות היה בתפקיד מארגן ומעבד. כתב קומפוזיציות קטנות ושירים, מהם אף החל להוציא לאור
לאחר השירות הצבאי למד במשך שנה אחת ערב רב של קורסים מעניינים במחלקה למוזיקולוגיה באוניברסיטת בר אילן, ולאחר מכן נסע להתמחות בהולנד, אצל מורים שהכיר בסדנאות למוזיקה עתיקה בירושלים, ובראשם הייקו טר סככט וליאו מיילינג. במקביל ללימודיו הרשמיים התעסק עדי בלימודי מוזיקה עכשווית וגם הלחין מוזיקה כזו
לאחר שחזר לישראל רכש אולפן ביתי והחל לשלב מוזיקה אלקטרונית בעבודתו ולעיתים אף להתבסס עליה. לאט לאט נגע עמוק יותר בז’אנרים שונים וביותר ז’אנרים. במקביל גם החל לעסוק בהוראה באופן קבוע, ולהשתלב אט אט בצמרת עולם המוזיקה העתיקה הישראלי כמבצע, לצד המשך פעילותו המוזיקלית בז’אנרים האחרים. לאחר כמעט 20 שנות הפסקה חזר עדי לעולם האקדמי – הן כמרצה באוניברסיטת אריאל וכמדריך וכמרצה אורח ומחליף במוסדות שונים, והן כסטודנט לתארים מתקדמים במחלקה לטכנולוגיות מוזיקליות באוניברסיטת בר אילן
ברבות השנים ברזומה של עדי כמורה יש עשרות שנות ניסיון במוסדות מהמובילים בארץ, יצירתו ונגינתו מתפרסת על סוגות רבות בהן פופ, רוק, ג’אז, בלוז, אוונגארד, מינימליזם, דאנס, אתני, יהודי וכמובן מוזיקה קלאסית ובתוכה בעיקר מוזיקה עתיקה, וכמובן שהוא משלב בין העולמות, ומביא אליהם פעמים רבות צבעים מעניינים וחדשים בזכות הכלים הרבים והסגנונות הרבים בם הוא מנגן

You are browsing a site that is dedicated to my activities, in which, to be honest, I’m trying to cope with the task of presenting to you the “best of me”, and to succeed in doing so somehow without getting into unnecessary self-aggrandizement. Show off and be humble at the same time (one of the tools that I take here and there in order to cope with this task is formulations with a “wink”, a sort of self-deprecating humor, which I hope are read in the right tone). Actually – I particularly want to be comprehensively informative about my deeds and skills and to give them a platform, so the world can know whatever I think would be proper to display about myself. It is true that you could always go into greater detail, but in fact if you read what I wrote about my activities in the different pages of this site you expect to read long, and if you’d also watch all the embedded videos that demonstrate this activity my hope is that you can spend hours of fun here.
In any case, a lot of times people just need some kind of summary, and it is also important for me to have an orderly Biography Online. Biography as such it is fitting for it to include references to all core aspects of my activities that I’ve listed here in the different pages on the site, and yet it is supposed to be in a reasonable length on the one hand, and on the other – to avoid an endless and perhaps dreary list of places I performed at, persons with whom I worked and so on, that after decades of a career, I would have to filter out quite a bit of, or just give up on the details of such a list as part of the Biography, and relate to activities more generally. Regardless this list, accumulated over time, I’m very happy with what I did so far, and on the other hand – I always know there’s a lot more that can be achieved, and that of course includes a lot more places where I would like performing at, artists to work with, and in general – continue to be active and so doing more than I already did. Along with all the pat on the back, self or not, there is another ocean of things I have not done yet and which I aspire, as well as about improving qualities of what ever I do – I always know that you can aspire for more, along with occasional rest on the laurels.
In any case, in that spirit, here is what I define as a useful self wrote biography. Third-person autobiography if you will. This biography is useful both for those who need to cite the details of my life and activities in general and its length is acceptable, and for those who are interested in such summary as a kind of outline of my professional life, as mentioned – almost without having to go into the details themselves. Adi Silberberg, born in 1975, at Rehovot, Israel. Has a degree in early music and playing the recorder, multi-instrumentalist and multi-stylistic player, a music teacher, a family man.
He began studying the recorder at second grade at the municipal conservatory, and in the early years he studied with various teachers in groups until he came to Rebecca Horan and Gershon Prenski, with him he studied in his youth, and under his guidance he also won scholarships from the America-Israel foundation. At the same time, starting from childhood, he learn to play different instruments – little organ and piano, violin and guitar, and as an adult he continued to gain experience in many other musical instruments. He gained experience as a child and as a teenager working on different types of music at school settings or with the guys, playing at orchestras, ensembles and bands of various kinds, and often took the role of organizer and arranger. Wrote small compositions and songs, which he also began to publish.
After military service he studied for one year hodgepodge of interesting courses in the Department of Musicology at Bar Ilan University, and then went to specialize in Holland, with teachers who he knew from the early music workshops in Jerusalem, led by Heiko ter Schegget and Leo Meilink. While a student studied also contemporary music and had composed such music. After returning to Israel, he acquired a home studio and began to incorporate electronic music in his work and often rely on it. Slowly touched more genres and more deeply. At the same time also began to regularly engage in teaching, and gradually integrate into the top of Israeli early music world, while his musical activity continued alongside in other genres.
Over the years the resume of Adi as a teacher gained decades of experience in leading institutions in the country, his music spans many genres including pop, rock, jazz, blues, avant-garde, minimalism, dance, ethnic, Jewish and of course classical music and in it mostly early music, and of course he combines the worlds, and often brings them new and interesting colors thanks to the many instruments and many styles in which he is playing. In recent years he’s involved again with the academic world, both as instructor (mainly in Ariel University) as well as as a student – mostly in musical technologies in Bar Ilan university.
Today Adi frequently participate in many different types of ensembles of different genres, in some of which he is very involved in the production and arranging level, and some also at the initiating level. Performs regularly at various stages in the country and the over the world, some of which are of the most prominent and important, and appears on numerous CDs. His resume includes radio and television broadcasts at various networks, and a list of distinguished names gained, working with the leading artists and organizations, along with many fringe artists, high-quality and interesting.
