אנסמבל נוריה (לשעבר בית הגת) הוא אחד האנסמבלים המשמעותיים בקריירה שלי מבחינת נפח הפעילות, אחד המייצגים במובן שעוסק במוזיקה שמהווה תחום התמחות בולט שלי (מוזיקה עתיקה יהודית) שחלק ניכר ממנה גם נדיר ואף חלוצי, ושיש לי בה מקום לאילתור ולנגינה, לצד החלילית, גם בכלים נוספים, וגם – מדובר באחד ההרכבים האהובים עליי, והיקרים ללבי, שמלא כולו בחברים ואנשים טובים ומיוחדים, וגם אקלקטיים, דבר המתבטא גם בתוצאה

מבחינת המשמעות בנפח הפעילות, הרי שהאנסמבל, שעוסק בעיקר בשחזור מוזיקה יהודית איטלקית, פועל להוצאת מוזיקה כזו על גבי אלבומים המופצים בחברות מוכרות ובאופן בינלאומי, ולצדם כמובן הופעות במקומות שונים ומגוונים, ולעיתים קרובות – מקסימים

ההרכב המדויק של חברי האנסמבל משתנה לפי התוכניות השונות, אבל המובילים בו הם איילה סיילדמן, נגנית צ’לו שאחראית על האנסמבל במובנים רבים, וראשית כל – על דיג הרפרטואר ובחירתו, ועל הניהול המוזיקלי של ההרכב, ולצידה ברי מוסקוביץ, שמעבר לנגינתו בתיאורבו גם אחראי על העיבודים

Ensemble Nuria (aka Bet Hagat) is one of the most significant ensembles in my career in terms of volume of activity as well as the fact that it is ensemble that represent me well, giving the facts that it deals with music genre that is a significant experty of mine (early Jewish music), that part of its repertoire is rare & even pioneering, & that I have the space there also for improvising & playing few instruments, including mainly the recorder, as well as the viol. It is also one of my favourite ensembles, which is full of dear & special & eclectic musicians-friends, which is of course reflected in the outcome.

 The ensemble, which is focusing in early Italian Jewish music, publishes its music in albums in known international companies, and performs in various (& often charming) locations.

The members of the ensemble vary between its exact programs, but its leading characters are its musical director Ayela Seidelman, which among other “functions” she holds in the ensemble such as playing the cello, she is also responsible to the repertoire choices; the other leading figure in the ensemble is Bari Moscovitz, its arranger & its theorbo player.
